If you require emergency medical help, then call ‘999’. If you are not sure if it is an emergency, and have enough time we would recommend contacting NHS 111, or call the practice on the usual telephone number. Please clearly state at the beginning of your call that you think you have an emergency situation.
Urgent medical help
If you require urgent medical help then please call the surgery, if it is appropriate you will be offered either an immediate appointment at the surgery or an emergency appointment at the end of the surgery. If you are unable to come to the surgery for medical reasons then we can offer you a same day visit, if it is urgent then we will try to schedule the visit appropriately. However please note we are unable to offer an emergency home visiting service, so if you feel that you are unable to wait for medical reasons then please, if you feel it is appropriate, call ‘999’ – if you are not sure then please discuss this with us or 111.
