Patients can call for same day GP appointments at 8am when our phone lines open, when contacting the surgery you will be asked some questions by our reception team to understand the reason for your call; this is to determine the most appropriate course of action.
If you require a routine (non-urgent) GP appointment please use our online medical query form found on the website- just click the green patient triage banner at the top of our homepage and select medical query and follow instructions. Please note this opens Monday-Friday at 6am and closes when capacity is reached.
GP appointment requests are now face to face at the surgery, unless advised otherwise. Rainworth Surgery offers some GP appointments via a telephone triage system for medication reviews and results.
When appointments have reached capacity you will be signposted to the next appropriate care for example- PharmacyFirst, 111 or PC24
Home visits are available for housebound patients, a home visit will need to be requested before 11am if a same day visit is required.
Nurse and HCA Appointments
Appointments for chronic disease management, immunisations, smears, blood tests and much more are available to book.
Please telephone reception and they will be happy to book you an appropriate appointment.
Saturday Opening
Extended Access appointments are carried out on Saturdays across Sherwood PCN.
