Every autumn we have seasonal flu vaccine clinics. These are mainly for patients 65 and over, immuno-compromised patients, diabetics, those with chronic conditions including chest problems (eg asthma and bronchitis), heart problems (eg angina), kidney problems and pregnant ladies.
There is also a vaccine called Pneumovax II available at any time against bacterial chest infections and pneumonia recommended for the same patients.
